Binta, Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Trustees Limited has over 24 years work experience most of which was in banking. She holds a first Degree in English Language, a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy, an MBA in Management, is a HCIB of the Chartered Institute of Bankers as well as an Associate of the Women in Management, Business & Public Service (WIMBIZ). She is also a Fellow of the Association of Investment Advisers & Portfolio Managers (IAPM).

Binta was at various times, Head of Expert banking In Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Head of Private Banking in Stanbic Bank Nigeria, the Pioneer Head of Wealth Management in FBN Capital Limited, and Head of Treasury Marketing in then MBC International Bank Limited.

An Alumnus of some leading Business Schools including the Harvard Business School, INSEAD and Wharton, Binta is also an active member or in the leadership of different professional associations and community –oriented organizations which are passionate about the empowerment of women and the girl-child while she also sits on the board of some Non-Governmental organizations that in particular look out for the disadvantaged in society (Orphans and widows especially)

Dudu joined Scaw Metals in December 2012 as Executive Head of Public Affairs and Communications. Over a period of almost four years, she has been exposed to Scaw’s businesses locally and internationally. As a member of the Executive Committee (EXCO), she works closely with each EXCO member and is also tasked with all aspects related to predominantly external stakeholder management, network development with government, regulatory and non-statutory bodies. The role is externally focused with a strong internal networking and communications component as well as alignment with policy and regulatory matters.

Prior to this, she was employed at Adcock Ingram responsible for media, government and investor relations. She has also held senior roles with various reputable brands including The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) over a combined 13 year-tenure where she gained extensive experience and exposure to public affairs and government relations. One of her key achievements includes conducting an economic impact study for Coca-Cola SA in 2007/8.

Sibonile is the Corporate Affairs Director (Southern & Central Africa) for Unilever. She has over 15 years’ experience working in Corporate Communications, Employee Engagement, Media Relations, Government Relations and Sustainability. She has held various positions within multinational companies in diverse industries amongst them Ford Motor Company and Nokia.

Her knowledge of the African markets was gained during her tenure at Blue Financial Services where she was in charge of the Public Relations and Communications portfolio of 14 countries for the Micro-Finance Institution.

At Unilever, Sibonile is responsible for leading the company in the delivery of an effective Communications strategy in South Africa and the Southern African region countries of Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Previous to Unilever, Sibonile worked for a German specialty chemicals company, LANXESS AG, where she was Head of Corporate Communications for South Africa. She is married with three children.

She has a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Sociology, a National Diploma in Journalism and is completing a Master of Management in Strategic Marketing at Wits Business School.
