As such, CareerNation is looking to hire an exceptional forward-minded Sales & Marketing Specialist:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing programs to acquire and retain customers
  • Plan, manage, analyze and improve telemarketing, direct mail and digital marketing campaigns
  • Develop, plan and manage online presence, website, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
  • Develop and implement a variety of marketing programs and materials to acquire, retain and communicate with customers and promote the CareerNation brand
  • Create and execute strategy to drive online traffic to company website
  • Create sales scripts for outbound marketing efforts. Manage call-monitoring process to ensure quality and adherence to policy
  • Establish and monitor customer pricing
  • Leverage brand equity and develop creative advertising programs
  • Track, measure, improve and report on the effectiveness of all sales and marketing programs
  • Negotiate new and manage existing contracts
  • Apply market research techniques to evaluate existing markets and recommend new markets for expansion
  • Develop new services to grow the business and improve customer satisfaction
  • Monitor industry sales and marketing trends to optimize our methods and spend
  • Monitor existing and potential markets to gain competitive intelligence and advantage
  • Develop informative and persuasive talking points for inbound customer service function
  • Responsible for other ad hoc and cross-functional projects


  • Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, English, Journalism or Communications and related field)
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the areas of marketing, market research, telemarketing, direct mail and digital marketing and marketing communications

Functional/Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEO/SEM, organic and inorganic customer acquisition and display advertising
  • Firm understanding of direct mail marketing, telemarketing and other customer acquisition methods
  • Customer service focused, highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Must work with limited supervision and be able to effectively manage project cross-functionally
